It was a lovely sunny afternoon to begin our monthly Picnic in the Park as we celebrated the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla with scrumptious picnics followed by delicious buns and ice creams. Oh, and an unaccompanied rendition of the National Anthem and a rousing three cheers for the King.
If you want to come along to the next Picnic in the Park, it will be on the first Sunday in the month for the months of June, July, August & September commencing each time around 12 noon after the Sunday Worship service and congregating near the bandstand in Hall Leys Park, Matlock.
Everyone is welcome to come the the Worship Service first and then come to the park, or if you can't make the service, come to the park and join in the picnic. You could... go to the park early and watch the service online, then stay in the park for the picnic too.
Please keep praying for sunny weather, for the message about Jesus to be heard by everyone and for all those you care about, including yourselves.
