This is an own arrangement service themed on caring for the planet. This café style service led by Mike Haynes and supported by Steward Julie Dumelow provided the opportunity to focus on the things we can do to care for the planet. The order of service is provided below with videos of the songs that were sung.
The service also featured a video of Wangarĩ Muta Maathai who was a Kenyan social, environmental and political activist who founded the Green Belt Movement an environmental non-governmental organization focused on the planting of trees, environmental conservation and women's rights. In 2004 she became the first African woman to win the Novel Peace Prize. Wangari tells the illustrative story of the hummingbird.
Two of the hymns used well known tunes to sing new words to.
