Rev. Helen Penfolds' message in the service on Sunday 14th August was themed around recent sporting activities and how faith needs to be exercised so that it too is fit for purpose for everyday use. Helen also noted that Christians are running the race for Jesus and should be passing on the baton of faith to others so they too can race in fellowship with others.
The edited video recording of the service is provided below, together with links to videos of the hymns that were sung, the order of service and the words of the third hymn, which had been written by a former colleague of Helen's. The Abbot's Leigh video provides the tune that was used for the third hymn and will need to be played twice through as there are only three verses of the music and there are five verses in the words.
