MMURC 24 hour prayer day

I hope this message finds you well,

"Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement that invites Christians around the world to pray from Ascension to Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus."

For Hope 2020 the mission and outreach team are organising a 24hr prayer day.

When is it?

Starting @ 9am on Saturday 30th of May

Ending @ 9am on Sunday 31st of May

What is it?

It's simply a day of prayer, where our Church pledge to pray for a 24 hour period for God's Kingdom to come here in Matlock, Great Britain and across the globe.

How can I take part?

There are 2 options,

A) You can pray for Thy Kingdom to Come in your own way, for as long as you like, at a time that suits you within the 24 hour period.

B) If you can though we encourage you to pledge to pray at a particular time, to help us cover a full 24 hours with NON STOP PRAYER. For more information please see our 'pledge to pray' image to help this happen.

Why should I get involved?

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses …to the ends of the earth. When he had said this…he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight…Then they returned to Jerusalem … and were constantly devoting themselves to prayer… When the day of Pentecost had come they were all together in one place... All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit... and that day about three thousand persons were added."

Acts 1, 2"

Where can I join in?

In the comfort of your own home.
