Picture a flower for Christian Aid Week

Alison Dowsett is raising money for Christian Aid week on Facebook this year because the usual collection can't take place due to Coronavirus. Money is needed more than ever because of the impact Covid 19 is having on people who already have very little. For example, in Myanmar Christian Aid has supplied soap to over 30,000 people and distributed 2,000 surgical masks.

Alison is being sponsored to find and photograph 100 different types of flowers (wild or garden, including herbacious plants, shrubs and trees) and posting the photos on her Facebook page and identifying as many as possible during Christian Aid Week. At the time of writing, Alison has raised over £225 - well beyond her £150 target. Thank you to all the generous donors. If you want to help too, please click on the link below which takes you to Facebook and Alison's fundraising page. https://www.facebook.com/donate/1104674056572317/

Help us build a world free of injustice and poverty. Not tomorrow but today.

Please stay tuned throughout the week to see what other people are doing to raise money and updates on Alison's flowery challenge.
