We will remember them

The Remembrance display has been installed again at Matlock Methodist and United Reformed Church and there will be a remembrance service on Sunday 10th November at 10:30am with the Last Post and remembrance two minute silence at11:00am followed by Reveille at 11:02am. The combined Matlock Brigades will be parading in the service.

The combined Matlock Brigades will also be in the parade and service in Matlock Town at Park Head on Sunday 10th November afternoon. Parade at 2:45 pm and service at 3:00pm. The order of service for the Park Head remembrance is available to download here

Matlock Town Council organises the Remembrance services in Matlock, in conjunction with the Royal British Legion.

Services take place at the following times on Remembrance Sunday:

11:00 am at Pic Tor War Memorial

11:30 am at Starkholmes War Memorial

3:00 pm at Park Head, Hall Leys Park. This is the main service for the town and is proceeded by a parade through Matlock, beginning at 2.45pm.

This year Remembrance Sunday is 10th November.

On 11th November a short service is held at 11am at Park Head each year.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any or all of the above Remembrance services.
